Meet Our Caring Staff
We understand how difficult it is to lose a loved one. Our compassionate and caring team works hard every day to make sure that the members of our community and beyond are taken care of during such a difficult time. For advice on what to do when a loved one is dying, making funeral arrangements, pre-arranging your funeral, or anything else, please feel free to contact us, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We promise to work with you and your family in your time of need to create the perfect memorial service for your loved one. We will be here for you today, as well as tomorrow.
Licensed Staff
All of our licensed directors adhere to the highest standard of ethical practices and are committed to ensuring that all of your needs are attended to. Their commitment to the community and genuine compassion toward families are but a few of the characteristics that make them outstanding in their field. We are proud to have them on our staff.
David has over 50 years of experience in the funeral business. He came back to Bloomer in 1978 to work with his father Bill, who worked for Henry Werner for three years before he changed the name and founded Olson Funeral Home in 1954.
Ben came back to work with David in 2009.
Dana has been a funeral director since 2011 and joined the Olson Funeral Home staff in 2022.
Tom joined Olson Funeral Home as an apprentice in September of 2021.
Non-Licensed Staff
Although not licensed funeral directors, these members of our staff are vitally important to the operation of our firm. These individuals make it possible for us to professionally coordinate funerals with the quality of service our community has come to expect from us.

Support Staff
Typically not seen during the funeral, their presence behind the scenes is nonetheless critical to the day-to-day operation of our facilities. Our support staff plays an important role in ensuring our high standard of service. We are proud of their dedication and commitment.
