Wilmer “Delbert” Lotts, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at MCHS in Eau Claire. He was born on August 1, 1932 in Weyerhaeuser to Charles and Helen (Nelson) Lotts. He married Caroline Steinbeck on October 30, 1959. He was a Sargent in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Delbert worked at Jenni-O and as a foreman for Madison Silo. He loved tractors, cows, horses, mules, but his favorite time was his “café time”, where he could tell stories with his family and friends.
He is survived by his sons: Brad, Jim (Roxanne), Tim (Kelli) and Dewey (Andrea) Lotts all of New Auburn; brothers: Harry “Donnie” Lotts of Bloomer and Dennis (Karen) Lotts of Cadott; daughter in law: Sharon,
15 Grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Helen; wife: Caroline Lotts; son: David Lotts
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude’s Church in New Auburn. There will be a visitation on Friday, January 1, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Military Rites will be performed by the American Legion/VFW.
