William E. “Bill” Lambert passed unexpectedly on Sunday, October 17, 2010 in Montello WI. He was born on January 14, 1935 in Bloomer to William & Emma (Oldenberg) Lambert. He married Gloria Fehr on September 22, 1953 in Bloomer. He worked for Elmer Schroetter’s Service Station, Albert & Marvin Schroetter’s Construction, Reuben Rosenbrook Construction and as a serviceman for Wisconsin Gas. After his retirement he and Gloria spent their winters in California. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer and enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife: Gloria of Bloomer; four sons: Dale (Betsy Sotka) Lambert of Eau Claire, David (MaryAnn) Lambert of Bloomer, Daryl (Jeanette) Lambert of Evansville WI and Delon (Terry) Lambert of Bloomer; one daughter: Darla (Kelly) Marshman of Waunakee WI; two brothers: Robert (Florence) Lambert of Bloomer & Richard (Phoebe) Lambert of Red Granite WI; two sisters: Marjorie Bednarek of Montello WI & Jean (Dan) Blythe of Cathedral City CA; twelve grandchildren & five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bruce Rimmereid officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the Olson Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 PM on Thursday October 21, 2010 and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
