Wallace O. Cutting

Wallace O. Cutting, age 84, passed away at his home on December 30, 2017. He was born in the Town of Grant on March 13, 1933 to Hiram and Tilla (Tweed) Cutting. He was proud to farm on the family farm which was homesteaded in 1863. He had a passion for antique threshing machines and John Deere Two-Cylinder tractors, even collecting the toy versions. Wally served as president and sexton of the American Cemetery in Popple Creek. He enjoyed working with horses, talking with his neighbors, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his brother: Grant (Barbara) Cutting of Chippewa Falls and his sisters: Ella Lundequam of Dallas and Ethel Nelson of Colfax; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Hiram and Tilla Cutting; brothers: Warren, Eldred, Reuben, William, Francis and Sherman Cutting.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation from 11:00 until 1:00. Spring burial will be in the American Cemetery in the Town of Grant, Dunn County.
