Virginia Barrack, age 85, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Country Terrace in Bloomer. She was born March 30, 1931 in Shannon MO to Guy and Goldie (Baker) Chitwood. She married Clinton Havens, and after their divorce she married Richard Barrack. She worked as a cook at Reedley Community College and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in New Auburn. She enjoyed singing, flower gardening and traveling. She especially loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters: Marjorie (Jim) Pingel of New Auburn and LaVerne Tillery of Dinuba CA, ; two sons: Clinton (Beth) Havens of Lemoore CA and Mark (Susan) Havens of Eugene OR; brother: Dale (Punky) Chitwood of Idaho; sisters: Guyla Preheim of Idaho and Ruth (Bill) Brawley of Medical Lake WA ; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons on-the-way.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Guy and Goldie Chitwood; Husband: Richard Barrack; brother: Alfred Chitwood; sister: Vivian Springer.
