Thomas Woodman, age 88, passed away on December 14, 2019 at MCHS in Bloomer. He was born to Louis and Laura (Soderberg) Woodman on October 10, 1931 in the township of Warden in Wisconsin. He married Anna Bury in 1953 and together they had 11 children. Anna lost her fight with cancer in 1975. On May 27, 1977 Tom married Rosetta File. Tom worked as a consultant for government housing as well as many other jobs over the years. He was a skilled woodworker and in his free time enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and was a huge Packer and Brewer Fan.
He is survived by his wife, Rosetta, sons: Thomas Jr (Betty), Leonard (Roxanne), James (Susan), Steven (Angela), and Jack; daughters: Pauline (Charles) Kothbauer, Leona Nesmith, Mary Woodman, Kathy (Rotimi) Emmanuel, and Rose Marie (Caleb) Rhodes; 34 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents: Louis and Laura; first wife: Anna Dorothy; sons: Arthur in infancy and Raymond; grandson: Noah Rhodes; siblings: Hazel, Mildred, Laura, Emily, Leonard, Kenny and Dick.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery following the service.
