Tammy Jo Fuss, age 57, passed away on March 21, 2025 at her home in Wisconsin Rapids. She was born on May 22, 1967 in Bloomer, WI to Joanne (Hoard) and William Fuss. Tammy grew up in New Auburn, WI and graduated from New Auburn High School with the Class of 1985.
Tammy always loved animals of all kinds. From her years of catching snakes, frogs, turtles, and even a chipmunk as a child to her numerous dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other cherished pets throughout her life; Tammy found happiness in all of them. She had a deep affection for her little companion dog, Jake, and sorely missed him when he died.
In recent years, Tammy has been blessed to have her daughter and young grandsons living nearby. Tammy and her partner, Don, took joy in spending time with them and helping with childcare. Their lives have been enriched by the entertaining play of young boys and their hearts have been filled with enduring love. She was also blessed by having a dear neighbor, Vicky Finup, who along with Don provided Tammy with wonderful care.
Tammy embraced life and its challenges with humor along with doses of sarcasm and mischief. Her determination to never quit and her self-proclaimed sassy attitude gave her the resilience to keep smiling and laughing through decades of serious health conditions.
