Steven Black

Steven B. Black, age 56, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester MN. He was born August 1, 1954 in Bloomer to Bernard & Jean (Peaslee) Black. He worked as a dairy farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his mother: Jean Hughes; two sons: Bernie (Sarah) Black of New Auburn and Billi Jo Black of New Auburn; two brothers: Carl (Patti Jo) Black and Joe Diane Black; two sisters: Lisa (Roy) Baldry and Lori Pickthorn- Hall; one granddaughter: Kaitlynn.

He was preceded in death by his father: Bernard; grandparents: Thomas and Marie Peaslee, Charles (Della) Black.

A Memorial service will be held at St. Jude’s Church in New Auburn on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Wayne North officiating.
