Sharon Pierce

Sharon K. Pierce of Bloomer, age 76, passed away on Wednesday September 19, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Sharon was born on March 10, 1942 to Henry and Alice Monpas in Chippewa Falls. She married William Pierce on February 15, 1958.
Sharon loved her polka music, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. Sharon was a stay at home mom and later in life worked at St. John’s in Bloomer.

Sharon is survived by her children, Rhonda (Mark) Durch, Shari (Chuck) Lang, Tim, David (Roxie) Pierce, Mark (Tammy) Pierce and Sally (Greg) Hetherington; son in-law: Joe Flatten, daughter in-law, Sally Pierce, 19 grandchildren, 30 great – grandchildren, siblings: Kenny Monpas of Chippewa falls, Joyce Boos of Cadott, Rita Harlow of West Virginia, Dick Monpas of Bloomer, numerous nieces nephews other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Alice; husband: Bill; Children: Renee Flatten, Bill Pierce Jr. and Brian Pierce; great grandchild: Caysen Lang; sisters: Delores and Donna Reim, Barb Prueher, Judy Scheidler, Joanne Monpas; brother: Jim Monpas.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family.
