Ronald J. Pitts

Ronald J. Pitts, age 84, of Grantsburg, WI passed away on February 28, 2025, in Little Falls, MN.

Ron was born on July 23, 1940, to Lyle L. and Irene E. (Osgood) Pitts. He graduated from New Auburn High School and went on to serve in the US Army. Ron worked at 3M Manufacturing in Minnesota. After retirement, he moved up to Grantsburg and enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and the occasional trip to the casino.

Ron is survived by his brother: Gary Pitts of New Auburn; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lyle and Irene Pitts; siblings: Donald, Lyle J. and Donna Mae.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM on Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at the North Catholic Cemetery in Bloomer with military honors performed by the Bloomer American Legion and VFW.
