Ronald Oldenberg

Ronald D. “Redd” Oldenberg, age 65, formerly of Bloomer, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at his home in Eau Claire. He was born July 10, 1947 in Bloomer to Leonard “Ole” and Velna (Rediger) Oldenberg. Red worked as a truck driver for County Concrete and was a huge Badger and Packer fan.

He is survived by his mother: Velna Oldenberg of Bloomer; two sons: David and Mark Oldenberg; four brothers: Dennis “Snort” (Jackie), Eugene “Buck”, Donald (Kim), and Dean (LuAnn) Oldenberg all of Bloomer; two sisters: Judene (Pete) Friberg of Colfax and Linda (Byron) Motzer of Chetek; one sister-in-law: Linda Oldenberg of Bloomer; four grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father: Leonard and brother Verlyn.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. There will be a visitation from 4:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday before the service. Burial will take place at the Bloomer Cemetery on November 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM.
