Phyllis M. Erickson (Stoyke)

Phyllis M. Erickson, age 85, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017 at MCHS in Bloomer. She was born August 22, 1931 in Chetek to Alfred A. and Griselda A. (Tursky) Stoyke. She married Lee Erickson on July 18, 1950 at the United Methodist Church in Bloomer. Phyllis worked as an office manager for many years, but her main focus in life was taking care of her family. She was a huge Packer fan and looked forward to the football season every year. She was an excellent bowler, enjoyed going on walks, decorating her home, growing flowers and spending time with her family, friends and dogs: Princess and Cooper.

She is survived by her daughters: Heidi Erickson of Bloomer and Terri Nix of Carmel, IN; numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Alfred and Griselda; her husband: Lee; son-in-law: Thomas Nix; brothers: Eugene and Lawrence Stoyke.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Bloomer with a visitation from 4:00 – 6:00 at the church. Private burial will be at a later date.
