Paul D. Rihn, age 82, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Wissota Health and Rehabilitation in Chippewa Falls. He was born March 13, 1929 in the Town of Cook’s Valley to William and Lela (Burke) Rihn. He married Beverly Wildenberg on July 8, 1955 in Pine City, MN. Paul served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a dairy farmer for most of his life. He was a member of the Bloomer American Legion and VFW, the Marine Corps League, DAV, the Bloomer Moose Lodge and St. John’s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, playing cards, and visiting with family and friends
He is survived by his wife: Beverly of Bloomer; one son: Donald (Bonnie Mitchell) Rihn of Bloomer; one daughter: Cindy (Ron) Auburt of Laughlin NV; two sisters: Evelyn Rich of Dixon IL and Mae Koch of Bloomer; three grandchildren: Ronnie and Danielle Rihn, Kayla Sturdy; two great-grandchildren: Brent and Jonathon Sturdy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Ronald Rihn; two brothers: Robert and Ted Rihn; one sister: Elizabeth Ziebell.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church on Wednesday. There will be no visitation Tuesday evening. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is in charge of arrangements.
