Marlene A. Rosenbrook, age 86, passed away at Care Partners in Bloomer on December 12, 2021. She was born on December 26, 1934 to Melvin and Eleanor (Weir) Nelson in Boyceville. She married LeRoy Rosenbrook on August 21, 1954 in Bloomer. She worked at the Bloomer Canning Factory and later became the assistant activities director at the Maple Wood in Bloomer. Marlene loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She babysat for them and dozens of other children over the years. In her free time she enjoyed reading, knitting, playing cards and riding around town on her scooter visiting with people.
She is survived by her children: Leanne (Darren) Knutson, David (Kim) Rosenbrook and Daniel (Sue) Rosenbrook, all of Bloomer; grandchildren: Shawn Rosenbrook, Tasha Bjork, Dana Nielsen, Travis Rosenbrook, Stacey Rosenbrook Babbitt, Kristine Knutson, Jessica Waldofski, Nicole Knutson; 13 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Melvin and Eleanor; husband LeRoy; son: Dennis; brother: Robert Nelson.
