Marilyn Schlender, age 66, passed away at Marshfield Clinic in Eau Claire on January 2, 2022. She was born in Wisconsin on November 24, 1955 to Delmar and Anna (Christianson) Turner. She was married to Stephen Schlender and worked as LPN and several nursing homes in the area before retiring in home health care. She was a gifted baker and enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Packers and game shows. She was a very caring and loving person who was always willing to help others.
She is survived by her husband: Stephen; daughters: Jolene (Jason) Woodman and Julie (Benjamin Hurt) Schlender; grandchild: Josephine Woodman; step-brothers: David and Todd Thornton; numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Delmar and Anna; step-mother: Jane; step-brothers: Scott, Brad and Brent Thornton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday January 7, 2022 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bloomer with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
