Marian Henning

Marian H. Henning, age 92, passed away, Monday, August 12, 2013 at St. Josephs Hospital in Chippewa Falls. She was born on February 11, 1921 in Buffalo, IA to Herman and Hilda (Huber) Lindemann. She married Edward Henning on March 11, 1945 in Davenport IA. Marian was such an accomplished cook that she did it for a living at the Northern Colony. She was also the owner of the Sand Lake Store. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, cooking and being the family bartender at almost any time the family got together. Her true joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Michael (Nancy) Henning of Glenwood MN, Nancy (Fritz) Vetterkind of New Auburn, Patricia (Robert) Hadley of Shirley MA, Sue (Tom) Delaney of Lunenburg, MA; grandchildren: Richard (Kim) Vetterkind, Jeff (Kirsten) Vetterkind, Patrick (Cindy) Walker; great-grandson Brett Vetterkind

She is preceded in death by her parents: Herman and Hilda; husband: Edward; step-father: Frank Kane; siblings: Helen Perko, June, Herman and Ronald Lindemann.
