Lucy Marie Harms (Schroeder)

Lucy M. Harms, age 95, passed away Thursday, March 08, 2018 at Oakwood Villa in Eau Claire. She was born on April 1, 1922 in Chippewa County to Walter and Cora (Sheffield) Schroeder. She married Al Harms on February 8, 1942. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, canning, playing bingo doing jigsaw puzzles, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters: Margaret (Alvin) Barton of Sterling IL, Judy (Larry) Hamre of Eau Claire; son: Gary (Connie) Harms of Sandy OR; brothers, Dan, Don, Alfred and Roland; sister: Lorna Langer;; 6 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren numerous nieces nephews other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by parents: Walter and Cora; husband Al; brothers: Bill, Jack, Walter “Wally” and Leon “Tuffy” Schroeder; sisters: Gladys Peerson, Glennis Calkins, Lorraine Reeb and Margaret Domagala.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday . Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery.
