Lorraine Wildenberg, age 92, passed away at Care Partners in Bloomer on Sunday, June 19, 2011. She was born on January 23, 1919 to Fred and Ethel (Windsor) Heidtke in Eagleton WI. She married Peter Wildenberg on October 9, 1937 in Stillwater MN. Lorraine worked as a nurse’s aid and also at the Bloomer Canning Factory. She loved visiting and spending time with her family and friends. In her free time she enjoyed playing cards, crocheting and going on her monthly trip to the casino.
She is survived by five sons: Hank (Jo) of Eau Claire, Fritz (Barb) of New Auburn, Robert (Penny) of Reedsburg, Gerald (Linda) of Bloomer and Dan (Bonnie) of Bloomer; one daughter: Beverly (Paul) Rihn of Bloomer; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Peter; one son: Harold; one daughter: Alice Berg; one brother: Clyde Heidtke; six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with David W. Olson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home. There will be no visitation Tuesday evening.
