Lorraine Ella Reeb (Schroeder)

Lorraine E. Reeb, age 76, passed away at her home in New Auburn on Monday, December 8, 2014. She was born January 6, 1938 in Bloomer to Walter and Cora (Sheffield) Schroeder. She married Edward Reeb in February of 1985. She worked at ABC in Chetek, Jerome’s Turkey Farm, farmed and cleaned houses. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing, having company, going to Turtle Lake and gardening.

She is survived by brothers: Rolland Schroeder of Portland OR, Donald Schroeder of Baldwin, Daniel Schroeder of New Auburn, Alfred Schroeder of Hudson and Walter Schroeder of New Auburn; sisters: Lorna Langer of New Auburn, Lucy Harms of Eau Claire, and Margaret Donagals of Seattle WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Cora; her husband: Edward; brothers: William, Leslie “Jack” and Leon Schroeder; sisters: Glenice Calkins and Gladys Pierce.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Bloomer. Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 on Thursday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
