Lorna I. Langer

Lorna I. Langer, age 85, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Meadowbrook Senior Living in Chetek. She was the youngest of three sets of twins born on January 6, 1938 in Bloomer, WI to Walter and Cora (Sheffield) Schroeder. She married Alfred Olson in 1961 and later married Al Langer.  She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, spending time with family and friends, and going to Turtle Lake.

She is survived by brothers: Daniel Schroeder of Birchwood and Alfred Schroeder of Hudson, son: Eugene Schroeder of New Auburn, grandson: Charles Schroeder, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Cora Schroeder; husbands: Alfred Olson and Al Langer; brothers: William, Walter Jr, Leon, Jack, Roland, and Donald Schroeder; sisters:  Lucy Harms, Margaret Domagala, Glennis Calkins, Gladys Peerson and twin sister: Lorraine Reeb. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at United Methodist Church in Bloomer with a visitation to begin at 10:30 AM on Saturday at the church.
