Leonard H. Seibel, age 92, passed away on October 28, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born on December 02, 1933, in Bloomer, to Joseph and Catherine (Bohl) Seibel. On October 25, 1955, Lenny married Donna Bernier at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls.
Farming was more than just a job to Lenny, it was a way of life. He devoted his life to the livestock, land, and the daily work that came with running a farm. Lenny also managed an A.I. business that covered 4 counties. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Chippewa County Holstein Board, FFA Alumni, and Bloomer Moose Lodge. Anyone who knew Lenny, knew that he was competitive in anything he did. Whether it was golfing, playing racquetball, softball, basketball, cards, or fishing, he was always in it to win it!
He also enjoyed sitting on the bleachers, cheering on his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One of his greatest joys was having his family together, especially during the holidays. He loved a house filled with family, laughter, conversation, and the memories made when everyone gathered under one roof.
Lenny is survived by his wife of 71 years: Donna Seibel; children: Roxanne (Timothy) Mikula, Ronald (Mary) Seibel, Rhonda Kay Seibel, Renee (Matt) Hartman, Rita (Mike) Hassemer, Rick Seibel, Ronette “Nettie” (Kyle) Zwiefelhofer and Rose Seibel; daughter-in-law: Ann Seibel; brothers: Vernon Seibel, Gerald (Loris) Seibel and Tom (Louann) Seibel; 15 grandchildren, 23 great- grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
