Lawrence Lau

Bloomer Lawrence D. Lau, age 56, passed away Monday, July 08, 2013 in Chippewa Falls. He was born in Rockford IL to Duane and Donna (Gray) Lau. Lawrence worked as a farmer most of his life milking cows at several different farms in the area. He enjoyed watching the farm prices and how they would change. He also loved old tractors, muscles cars, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother: Donna Lau; son: Duane Lau of New Auburn; daughter: Melanie (Jayson) Blasel of Stevens Point; brother: James (Darla) Lau of Altoona; special friends and caregivers: Tammy and Larry Johnson of New Auburn.

He is preceded in death by his father: Duane Lau; sister: Barbara Lau; brother: Kenneth Lau

Funeral services will be held at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM with a visitation from 10:00-11:00 at the funeral home on Friday before the service. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Withee, Wisconsin at 3:00 PM on Friday.
