Kenneth Saastad

Kenneth O. Saastad, age 84, passed away at Dallas Care and Rehab in Dallas, WI on Thursday, January 31, 2013. He was born to Anton and Sadie (Larson) Saastad, on November 3, 1928 in Sand Creek WI. He married Joyce Olson on February 14, 1954 in Sand Creek. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Ken worked as a farmer for most of his life. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, horse pulls, and socializing and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Joyce of Chetek; son: Rick Saastad of Chetek; daughter in-law: Annie Saastad of Chetek, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his parents; son: Larry Saastad; two brothers: Clayton and Ralph Saastad
