Kathleen Staves

Kathleen R. Staves passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born on February 22, 1946 in rural New Auburn to Fred and Ruth (Motzer) Swanson. In her free time she enjoyed reading and knitting, especially making sweaters and hats for babies.

She is survived by her children Randy and Roxanne; brothers: Eugene, Earl, Elmer, and Keith Swanson; sisters: Karen Braden, Evelyn (Ed) Jenson, Edna Stokes, Edith Kopp, Elaine Broom, Esther (David) Braden, Elsie Melville, Emma (Jeff) Anders, Erma (Mike) Campbell; one aunt: Helen Holst

She is preceded in death by an infant daughter; parents: Fred and Ruth; four brothers: Edward, Eldon, Edwin, and Kenneth Swanson

Private family services will be held.
