Karen J. Bohl, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home on July 31, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 5, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI. Her parents were Carl and Eleanor (Schwab) Jahnke. Karen married Richard Bohl on July 29, 1972 in Tilden. She worked as a customer service representative at Mason shoe in Chippewa for many years. Karen loved the outdoors and spent her free time camping, fishing and bird watching. She enjoyed cheering on the Green Bay Packers and spending time with her family, grandchildren and grand dogs.
Karen is survived by her husband: Richard of Bloomer, daughters: Deanna (John) Caterer of Bloomer and Dawn (Aaron) Wright of Keystone Heights, FL, four grandchildren: Katlyn (Kevin) McCarty, Amber (Fiancé Bryan Bedford) Caterer, Chelsey Burton and Noah Burton, siblings: Darlene, Duane and Dawn, many in-laws, numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Eleanor Jahnke, and birth mother: Marion Beyer.
A celebration of life will be held at 3pm, on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Visitation from 1:00-3:00pm on Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in St. Catherine’s Cemetery. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family.
