Juanita R. Torgerson (Loofbourrow)

Juanita R. Torgerson, age 91, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 in Durand, IL. She was born October 7, 1924 in New Auburn to Courtney and Ruth (Philip) Loofbourrow. She married John Torgerson on June 27, 1947 in New Auburn. She worked as a bank teller and later was the owner/operator of the Wonder Grill in New Auburn. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, David Torgerson and daughter-in-law Cathy Carey of Madison WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Courtney and Ruth Loofbourrow; husband: John; brothers: Wade, Phillip, Donald and Kent; sisters: Helen, Grace, Vivian and Ann.

A time of remembrance will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Private Interment will be at the New Auburn Cemetery.
