Joyce Marlene Bohl passed away at Dove Health Care in Bloomer surrounded by loved ones on Friday, June 29, 2018. She was born on October 28, 1942 to Malcolm and Doris Davis. She married Robert “Bob” Bohl on September 10, 1960 and were blessed with two children. She started off working at ABC in Chetek, then after her marriage she sold Stanley Home Products, a job she was very passionate and successful at. She also enjoyed her years of farming and was the owner/operator of Bob’s 53 Club. Later in life she worked at Wal-mart Optical in Rice Lake until she retired in 2007. Joyce had a deep love for music and was a beautiful singer. If you had a special place in her heart she would entertain you with her yodeling. She loved her family deeply and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children: Robert (Sharon) Bohl Jr. of Hewitt WI, Michelle (Marc) Harelstad of Bloomer WI; 6 grandchildren: Maxwell and Alannah Bohl, Heather (Brent) Henry, Haylee, Hannah and Marcus Harelstad; great-grandbabies: Braylee and Brexton Henry; brothers: Ronald, Lloyd, Dana and Dennis Davis; sister: Susan Rosenbrook; numerous nieces, nephews, god children other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Malcolm and Doris; husband Bob; brothers: Francis, Norman, Jerry; sisters: Lois and Darlene
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 5:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation before the service from 2:00 – 5:00. Interment will be in the New Auburn Cemetery.
