Jacob Hetke

Jacob Daniel Hetke, age 20, tragically passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010 in an automobile accident. He was born March 9, 1990 in Bloomer to Scott & Bette Jo (Colbert) Hetke. He was a student, studying to be a registered nurse and was a caregiver at E Z View Adult Family Home in Cornell. Jacob genuinely cared about others and was a true “people person”. He enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his parents: Scott & Bette Jo Hetke of Cornell; two brothers: Cody Hetke of Cornell and Eric Gunderlach of Cornell; Paternal grandparents: Barb (Mel) Crisp of Bloomer & David Hetke of Chippewa Falls; Maternal Grandparents: Dan & Connie Colbert of Woodville; numerous special aunts and uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jackie Hetke & Duane Swan; great-grandparents: Bette Mae Newcomb, George & Myra Colbert, Eugene Hetke & Vinton Hetke; great aunt: Debra Schwartz.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010 11:00 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer. Interment will be in the Cleveland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 on Wednesday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday
