Henry J. Carrier

Henry J. Carrier, age 72, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, October 16, 2017. He was born July 9, 1945 in Northampton MA to Ernest Sr. and Frances (Mumblow) Carrier. He married Linda G. Rogers on June 25, 1966 in Easthampton MA. Henry worked as a cook for Williston Northampton School and enjoyed playing pool, watching football, traveling, taking an occasional trip to the casino and socializing with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife: Linda of New Auburn; sons: Michael (Devanie) Carrier of Eau Claire and Matthew Carrier of Georgia; daughter: Melissa (Troy) Pingel of New Auburn; brother: Norman (Dawn) Carrier of Easthampton MA; sisters: Beatrice Frennier and Jeanette Morin both of Easthampton MA; grandchildren: Christopher Blaine, Trey (Jessica) Pingel, Christopher Messick, Alexis Pingel, Jarred Messick, Jacob and Dylan Carrier.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Ernest Sr. and Frances Carrier; brothers: Ernest Jr. and Robert Carrier; sister: Diane LeBeau.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in New Auburn with a visitation one hour prior to the services at the church.
