Henry B "Sonny" Anderson

Henry B. “Sonny” Anderson, age 82 passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Knapp Haven Nursing Home in Chetek. He was born on July 10, 1932 in Oxford Pennsylvania to Henry and Emilie (Rother) Anderson. He married Joanne Dresel on October 28, 1961 in Jim Falls. Sonny served in the Delaware Air National Guard for 13 years, was a dairy farmer and also drove bus in the Bloomer area. He enjoyed reading, visiting with people, telling stories and spending time with his many friends and family, especially his grandson.

He is survived by his wife: Joanne of Bloomer; two daughters: Tricia (Albert) Metts of Johnson City TN and Tessa Anderson of Siren WI; two brothers: Clarence (Sue) Anderson of Sheldon WI and Joel (Lee) Anderson of LaCrosse WI; one grandson: Trenton Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Emilie Anderson.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Bloomer with a visitation from 12:00 – 1:00 at the church.
