Harold F. Klund, age 94, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the Hetzel Care Center in Bloomer. He was born February 4, 1917 in Red Granite WI to Edward and Ethel (Dahlby) Klund. He married Hazel Mullen on March 12, 1941 in Bloomer. Harold was a jack of all trades working as a clothing buyer at the Farmers Store, fixing old bikes, sharpening saws and tinkering with everything. His garage was always full of bikes, assorted parts, tools and projects that were being worked on. Harold was known for riding his bicycle year round, no matter the weather or the temperature. He enjoyed spending time with Fred, Steve and Tom, whether it be cutting wood in the forest, going out on wrecker calls, or working in the shop; Harold was always busy. He also helped out Bill and David at Olson Funeral Home, working visitations and going on road trips with Bill, the longer the better. Most of all Harold loved helping people. He was a true conversationalist and will be missed by all who knew him.
