Gary H. Weber

Gary was born on September 5, 1962, in Bloomer, WI to Howard and Bonnie (Withrow) Weber. He grew up on the family farm and attended Bloomer High School. Following high school, Gary went on to join the US Navy. After his honorable discharge, Gary owned his own business as an over-the-road truck driver, hauling freight on his flatbed trailer. Gary also lived in Colorado and Nebraska and worked as a cable technician. Later in life he moved back to the area and worked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Menomonie, WI. He found joy in fishing, the great outdoors, and sightseeing. His favorite place to be in the outdoors was the Sangre de Cristo mountains in Colorado. Throughout Gary’s adult life, he held an unwavering faith in Christ Jesus, which he freely shared with anyone he met, while attending Wild at Heart Retreats and on faith journeys to the Boundary Waters.

Gary is survived by his siblings: Laura (Steve) Weber-Meyers of Englewood, CO; Douglas (Gil) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Diane Weber of Superior, WI; Robert (Cathy) of Bloomer; Carolyn (Trent) Weber-Kreitlow of Sun Prairie, WI; Becky (Steve) Caron of Sun Prairie, WI; aunt and uncle Phyllis and Mike Johnson, Cameron, WI; aunt Janet Withrow, Parker, CO; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Ronny Brand, and cousin Matthew Johnson.

A service will be held for Gary on Saturday, May 10 at noon at Olson Funeral Home at 1516 Larson St, Bloomer, WI 54724.

The service will be followed by a gathering at Marquardt Cemetery and a reception at the family farm. All are welcome!
