Dorris Messer

Dorris Messer, age 87, passed away Monday, February 2, 2009 at The Maple Wood in Bloomer. She was born March 22, 1921 in Portland OR to Albert & Effie (Pucket) Bennett. She married Philip Messer on February 29, 1944 in Portland OR.

She is survived by one daughter: Cathie Moore of Bloomer; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, other relatives & friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Philip; one sister: Erma Terry; four brothers: Kenneth, Harold, Richard & Vern Bennett.

A private graveside memorial service and interment of cremains will be at the New Auburn Cemetery in the spring.
