Donald McTaggert

Donald H. McTaggert, age 96, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 At Pioneer Nursing Home in Prairie Farm. He was born October 6, 1914 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Archivald and Edna (Buchingham) McTaggert. He served in the Army during WWII and worked as an automotive mechanic. He was a member of the Chetek American Legion, volunteered with Green Thumb and enjoyed being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister and brother-in-law: Jean and Barney Shanks

A graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 27, 2011 with David W. Olson officiating. Military rites will be performed by the Chetek American Legion and VFW. Online condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomerbloomer.com
