Dagny Peterson

Dagny L. Peterson, age 91, passed away Monday, November 17, 2008 at Hetzel Care Center in Bloomer. She was born March 22, 1917 in Colfax to Paul & Thea (Rognstad) Isakson. She graduated from Eau Claire Teacher’s College in 1939. She married Phillip Peterson on August 2, 1943 at Wee Kirk O’ The Heather in Glendale CA. She worked as a teacher in the Colfax area for many years and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Running Valley. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her friends and her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons: James C. Peterson of Spring Valley WI and Lyndon D. Kathy of New Auburn; two grandchildren: Jon (Anne) Peterson of Colfax & Susan (Danial) Smith of Bloomer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Phillip; five sisters: Goldie Everson, Caspara Paulson, Ada Gustum, Leona Gilberts and infant, Pauline; four brothers: Norman, William, Melvin & Palmer Isakson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 1:30 PM at Faith Lutheran Church in Running Valley with Rev Jim Haga officiating. Interment will be in the Running Valley Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 �" 8:00 PM Thursday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer & one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
