Charyl Lynn Wood

Charyl L. Wood, age 54, passed away at MCHS Eau Claire on Sunday, January 24, 2016. She was born on March 26, 1961 to Donald and Janice (Moss) Wood. Charyl raised her family and enjoyed the simple things in life, like taking dives through the country side, drawing, writing poems and watching old family shows on the Hallmark channel. She enjoyed listening to music, doing crafts and in her younger years, camping and fishing. Most of all she was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children: Jacob Vitek III and Carrie Vitek; brothers: Hillman Wood of Jim Falls, Gene (Karla) Wood of Austin TX, Donald (Rheame) Wood of Trego; sisters: Carol
(Jim) Kolpien of Boyd and Cathy (Daniel) Edmunds of Beloit; grandchild: Shauna Hurt; fiancé Tim Paxton; sister in-law: Sue Wood; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

She is preceded in death by her parents; son: Shaun Vitek; brother: Wendell Wood


Funeral Services will be held at Christian Family Center located at 8600 Burnell Dr. in Eau Claire on Friday January 29th at 12:00 PM with a visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family.
