Charlene Johnson

Charlene M. Johnson, age 84, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Clairemont Nursing Home in Eau Claire. She was born January 9, 1927 to Charles and Gertrude (Rounds) Reetz in Bloomer. She arried Gerald Johnson and have one son Robert. Charlene attended the Minneapolis School of Business and worked as a secretary at the Sterling Pulp and Paper Company of Eau Claire and later as a secretary for the Bloomer School District. She also worked for her parents at their local meat market in Bloomer.

She is survived by her husband: Gerald of Eau Claire; son: Robert (Suzanne Yows) Johnson of Neenah WI.; sister Lorraine Reetz of Bloomer; granddaughter Elizabeth

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister: Jean Reetz

Private funeral services will be held at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Interment will be at the Bloomer cemetery following the service.
