Carlton Berg

Carlton R. Berg, age 92, passed away peacefully at Bethany Riverside in La Crosse, WI on
Thursday, October 4, 2018. Carlton was born August 24, 1926 in Bloomer to Carl and Hilda (Gravunder) Berg.
He served in the US Navy during WWII and worked as a machinist for Cutler Hammer in Milwaukee, WI. Carlton was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer, the Milwaukee VFW and the International Association of Machinists. Carlton enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, music and reading.

Carlton was preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Hilda Berg, brother: Margon (Bud) and sister: Maxine Christopher.

Carlton is survived by one brother: Ronald Berg, sister in law: Eunice (Margon) Berg, niece: Nancy (Jim)
Yohn and nephew: Roger (Ann) Berg and their families.

Graveside service and burial to be held at Bloomer Cemetery on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 12:30 pm. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to attend. A luncheon will be held at Main Street Cafe in Bloomer at 1:30 pm. Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is assisting the family.
