Carl Mielcarek

Carl E. Mielcarek, age 70, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Bloomer. He was born December 18, 1941 in Milwaukee to Emil and Lucille (Rewolinski) Mielcarek. He worked as a service technician for General Electric and enjoyed electronics, computers, cars, doing taxes, traveling and volunteering. He was an avid baseball fan and also enjoyed watching the Badgers and the Packers.

He is survived by his wife: Gail of New Auburn; one daughter: Laurie Schaefer of Milwaukee; two sons: Jason (Amy) Mielcarek of Milwaukee and Jeffrey (Michelle) Mielcarek of Aurora IL; one step-daughter: Karen (Michael) Maierle of Sherwood WI; twelve grandchildren one brother: Uncle Bernie (Betty) Mielcarek of Milwaukee; .

He was preceded in death by his parents; one step-son: James Hoagland.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on January 7, 2012 at St. Adalbert Cemetery, 3801 S. 6th Street, Milwaukee Wisconsin.
