Bradley Smith, age 49, passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. He was born October 28, 1961 in Eau Claire to Juel & Janice (Anderson) Smith. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Superior and worked as a meat cutter. He enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing, trap shooting, taking walks and being outdoors.
Brad was a pivotal part of daily living in Sand Creek. He was always willing to help people by running errands, delivering groceries, sharpening knives and doing odd jobs for those who needed help. His presence will be missed by the people whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his father: Juel and his wife, Kathy, of Sand Creek; one brother: Scott (Debbie) Smith of San Diego CA; two sisters: Nancy (Bruce) Tibbett of Marshfield WI and Melanie Smith of Eau Claire; two nieces: Nicole Smith and Sydney Nelson; two nephews: Maxwell and Roman Tibbett; one step-brother: Eric Nelson of New York; one step sister: Jana Nelson of Eau Claire; numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Janice and one sister: Julie Smith and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM at New Hope Lutheran Church in Sand Creek. Interment will be in the Our Savior’s Lutheran Cemetery in Sand Creek. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 on Friday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
