Arnold Rihn

Arnold H. Rihn, age 85, passed away at his home in Bloomer on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Arnie was born on August 17, 1925 to Harvey and Pearl (Berg) Rihn in Bloomer. He married Deanne Dettloff on December 4, 1967 in Chippewa Falls. Throughout his life Arnie worked as a farmer, a truck driver, a bar owner, in construction, and then in 1981 he became the owner and operator of AD & D trucking. He loved his job and enjoyed working. In his free time he would play cards, hunt, travel, and would always take time to visit with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Dee Rihn of Bloomer; sons: Dan Rihn of Bloomer, Kraig (Stacy) Rihn of Green Bay, Kory (Angela) Rihn of Colfax; daughters: Susan Rihn of Chippewa Falls, Roxanne Bauer of Chippewa Falls, and Debbie (Roc) Rogge of Bloomer; brother: John (Betty) Rihn of Bloomer; sister Helen Faschingbauer of Bloomer; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Claude Rihn

A memorial service will be held at the Bloomer Baptist Church on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Eldon Carlson officiating. A visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 PM prior to the service on Thursday. Olson Funeral Home Bloomer is in charge of the arrangements.
