Obituary for Arch O. Wallace

Archie “Arch” O. Wallace, age 85, died peacefully at his home on Monday, April 23, 2018. He was born in Crestview, TN to Clyde and Lulu (White) Wallace. Arch served his country in the US Army and was a skilled carpenter and took much pride in his work. He married Vivian Pake on October 4, 1954 in Holcombe WI. When he wasn’t working Arch loved the camping. Whether it was family camping trips to Shell Lake or going to Colorado or Canada with the guys, Arch loved the outdoors. He had a positive attitude with a good sense of humor and cherished spending time with the people that he loved.

He is survived by his children: Beth (Gary) Hill of Bloomer, Jeffrey (Nanette) Wallace of Colfax, Brian Wallace of Sand Creek, Penny (Loren Prince) Alman of Bloomer; brother: John “Jack” Cizek of De Moines; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; numerous nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Clyde and Lulu; wife: Vivian; daughter: Sally Wallace; 2 brothers and 5 sisters

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Bloomer United Methodist Church with a visitation on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Military honors by the Bloomer American Legion and VFW. Interment will be Holcombe Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com
