Anna Corrick

Anna Mae Corrick, age 98, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at The Maple Wood in Bloomer. She was born June 13, 1915 in Glenwood City to Roy and Lelah (Beresford) Veum. She married John “Ray” Corrick on February 4, 1935 in Bloomer. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Bloomer and in her free time enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading
Anna is survived by her children: James (Maria) Corrick of Morris IL, Robert Corrick of San Francisco and Pamela (Jerry) Gens of Minneapolis; sisters: Alice Bauer, Lelah Veum, Donna (Ted) Iverson; grandchildren: Bill and Jim Corrick, John Beams, Melanie Shipley, Lelah Dixson, Mary Kay Beams, and Nanette Roehr; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death her parents: Roy and Lelah; husband: Ray; daughter: Colleen Beams; brothers: Jim, Wally, and Bob Veum; sister: Mona Marquardt; son-in-law, James Beams.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Bloomer with a visitation from 12:00-1:00 PM on Wednesday. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery following the service.
