Alice S. Kunsman

Alice S. Kunsman, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, in the Village of Lake Hallie, WI. 

Alice was born on April 5, 1954, in Ashland, WI to Frank and Ruth (Cason) McCutcheon. On December 20, 1972, Alice was united in marriage to Roger D. Kunsman in Chippewa Falls. She was a waitress at The Renegade, Main Street Café and Heckles’ Family restaurant. Alice was also proud to work at Visiting Angels, a group that helps others maintain an independent living status. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, playing cards, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and getting together with family and friends for celebrations. 

Alice is survived by two daughters: Susan (Glen) Zukowski of Oregon and Heidi (Jay) Mertes of Cornell; two sons, Daniel (Machelle) Kunsman of Chippewa Falls and James (Aimee) Kunsman of California; 6 grandchildren, Annamarie (Cody) Roper, Ashley Zukowski (Matt Sharpe), Katylyn (Mikey Arita) Kunsman, Brady (Morgan Anderson) Kunsman, Winter Rands, Eren Kunsman, Austin Majeske and Ashlyn Majeske; 3 great-grandchildren: M.J. Roper, Lily Roper and Dallas Hoyt; siblings: Donald (Brenda) McCutcheon, Guy (Chris) McCutcheon, Bruce (Deb) McCutcheon, Pamela (Ken) Andersen and Rodney McCutcheon; sister-in-law: Margaret McCutcheon; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Ruth McCutcheon; husband: Roger Kunsman in 2017; and brother: Frank “Sonny” McCutcheon Jr. 

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Grace Baptist Church, 11591 17th Ave, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Olson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bloomer is assisting the family.
